Christmas Snowball Cookies


250 g butter
100 g sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla sugar
300 g flour
100 g almonds, chopped
100 g desiccated coconut
50 g icing sugar

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy. Slowly add flour, almonds and coconut.

Roll the dough into little balls � this is best done with damp hands.

Place them on a baking tray, covered with baking paper and bake in a pre-heated oven at 190�C for 15 to 20 minutes.

Sift icing sugar over the snowballs as soon as you take them out the oven.

Hint: Bake a double batch, they do not last.
