Hickory-Smoked Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Hickory chips, soaked
  • 4 baking potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation method

Prep: 10 mins     | Cook: 1 hour 30 mins

  1. Preheat the smoker (or grill with smoker) for 30 minutes with charcoal (if needed) and hickory chips, per manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Rub potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Place on the smoker grate.
  3. Close lid and smoke for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, until potatoes are tender. Serve.
