Pickled Easter Eggs


14hard boiled eggs
1 lwater
1 tbsp.thyme, chopped
1 tspmarjoram
2 tbsp.dried mixed herbs
1 tbsp.basil, chopped
1 tbsp.chives, chopped
10 smallallspice grains, ground
4bay leaves, chopped
2 tbsp.salt

Preparation Method

Lightly crack the eggshells with a spoon. Place the eggs into a large jar and add half of the salt and all the herbs.

Bring the water with the remaining salt to a boil and pour over the eggs. Cover the jar and allow to soak for 2 days.
