|1 tbsp.||thyme, chopped|
|2 tbsp.||dried mixed herbs|
|1 tbsp.||basil, chopped|
|1 tbsp.||chives, chopped|
|10 small||allspice grains, ground|
|4||bay leaves, chopped|
Lightly crack the eggshells with a spoon. Place the eggs into a large jar and add half of the salt and all the herbs.
Bring the water with the remaining salt to a boil and pour over the eggs. Cover the jar and allow to soak for 2 days.
