Hydrolysed Whey Protein Isolate Powder Overview

Whey is a substance produced during cheese production. It is the liquid content that remains after the milk has curdled. Whey can be processed and isolated into three different types of protein: whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate and whey protein hydrolysate. This particular form of whey isolate is hydrolyzed, meaning the proteins are broken into small segments to promote rapid and easy digestion. Because of this, amino acid delivery into the bloodstream can be much faster than in typical whey protein. Making this product ideal for people who want to see quick results.

What does Hydrolysed Whey Protein Isolate Powder do?

Manufacturer Description

Whey is a substance produced during cheese production. It is the liquid content that remains after the milk has curdled and coagulated. Whey can be processed and isolated into three different types of protein: Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate and Whey Protein Hydrolysate. This particular form of Whey Isolate is hydrolyzed, meaning that proteins are broken into small segments to promote rapid and easy digestion. Because of this, amino acid delivery into the bloodstream can be much faster than in typical Whey protein. Whey is a very rich source of protein, which accounts for 80% of its total weight. This protein powder is a rich source of branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs). Leucine is the branched-chain amino acid that is primarily responsible for initiating protein synthesis in the body. It contains a complete protein matrix consisting of the finest whey protein concentrate made from fresh milk (not cheese by-products) and pure hydrolyzed bovine collagen protein. The 2 to 1 ratio of whey to collagen protein provides a full spectrum of nutrients essential for fast recovery, a strong immune system, and lean muscle growth. Natural Protein™ also contains colostrum from grass-fed, pasture-raised cows to increase the amount of regenerative growth factors. It’s biologically-active, undenatured protein powder designed for optimal health and performance.

Disadvantages

  • One of the other ingredients listed is simply “milk”. There is no indication of how much.
  • Expensive considering the average serving is 30g.
  • No reviews.

Our Verdict

Bulk Supplements offers confusing pricing. Each recommended daily serving is 30g, yet they sell a 100g product. Though it’s cheaper the more you buy (but which product isn’t), you may question its value for money. Also, though it is easily digestible, they don’t mention the amount of milk in its ingredients.
