Green tea leaf extract

Green tea (Camellia sinesis) has long been known for its health benefits, from reducing cholesterol to fighting cancers. When it comes to key ingredients in thermogenics, studies show that green tea extract may boost metabolism and burn fat. Studies have shown an improvement in weight loss is particularly attributed to green tea when combined with caffeine.

Green coffee bean extract

Coffee beans that are not roasted are known as “green” coffee beans. In a study involving 16 overweight individuals aged between 22-26 years, a daily fraction of an ounce of green coffee bean extract resulted in a 10% weight loss over 22 weeks. The study’s leader, Joe Vinson Ph.D., believed it was due to a chemical in the beans called chlorogenic acid.

Raspberry ketones

Raspberry ketone is a chemical derived from red raspberries. It is thought to aid weight loss and suppress appetite. Research in the laboratory suggests these ketones might increase some measures of metabolism, although more clinical testing is needed to produce more legitimate claims.

Olive leaf extract

Though not at all clinically confirmed, chemicals found in olive leaves known as phenolics (of which oleuropein is the main type) appear to benefits glucose metabolism.

Caffeine (150mg)

The most common stimulant present in thermogenics, caffeine is used globally to reduce appetite cravings and to increase metabolism. In a randomized placebo-controlled double blind parallel trial in 76 overweight and moderately obese subjects, those individuals who consumed high caffeine amounts reduced weight, fat mass and waist circumference than those who consumed lower levels of caffeine. The discussion concluded that high caffeine intake was associated with weight loss through thermogenesis and fat oxidation.

Bacopa leaf extract

Bacopa monnieri is an Asian herb also known as moneywort and water hyssop. Chemicals found in the plant known as saponins have been known to reduce depression and anxiety, and to enhance cognitive function and learning ability. Further research demonstrated that Bacopa possessed immense potential in the improvement of cognitive disorders.

Garcinia fruit extract

Garcinia is a citrus fruit, and has been the subject of several tests into weight loss and as an appetite suppressant. Its active ingredient is believed to be hydroxycitric acid, which may reduce the formation of new fat cells. Though solid evidence into weight loss and positive effects on metabolism are scarce, Garcinia continues to be a popular ingredient in several thermogenic supplements.

Chrysin

Also known as 5,7-Dihydroxyflavone, chrysin is a naturally occurring plant chemical known as flavonoids. It is believed to preserve muscle by maintaining estrogen levels. It is used in bodybuilding products, and for treating anxiety.

Forskohlii root extract

An active compound occurring in the root of Coleus forskohlii (a tropical plant related to mint), forskolin has been used as part of traditional medicine for centuries. It is known to promote the breakdown of stored fats. In a trial consisting of 30 obese and overweight males, half were supplemented with 250 mg of forskolin twice a day for 12 weeks, whilst the other half received a placebo. Compared to the placebo group, the 15 males who took forskolin lost significantly more fat, but total body weight did not change. The results indicate that forskolin is a possible therapeutic agent for the management and treatment of obesity.

How do I take Vintage Burn and how often?

The recommended amount is 2 capsules twice a day. There is a little increase for accustomed athletes who should probably take about 3 capsules twice a day instead. It is important that you remember to take the dosage on Rest Days and Workout Days. However, the timings will differ slightly;

  • On Rest Days you should take 2 capsules of Vintage Burn first thing in the morning and then another two in the afternoon. If possible it is best to take them 30-60 minutes before a meal.
  • On Workout Days it is a good idea to take 2 capsules in the morning and 2 capsules 15-30 minutes just before your workout. However it is important that you still only take these twice a day no matter how many workouts you are planning. You don’t want to overdose.
How long will it take to get results from Vintage Burn?

Vintage Burn is reported to be almost immediate. Working from the first day, appetite suppression effects should be felt after around 3-4 days in. However it may be around 2 weeks before you see noticeable effects in the mirror. Which is still incredibly fast.
